Jeremy Walker is the husband of Lisa and the father of Lydia, Lainey, marshall and Hannah. In this role, Jeremy leads Team Walker by providing a tall hairy presence, a staccato laugh and numerous spontaneous moments of comedic relief. Jeremy is a well-documented rambler, with a tongue that can offer encouragement at a moment’s notice and a mouth that can also provide the means to kill someone's joy.
Jeremy has over 44 years of experience in dodging responsibility, passing blame and overlooking the huge plank that is in his eye, all the while being able to tell others how to be accountable for their actions, acknowledge their guilt and remove the speck of sawdust from their eyelid. A big believer in grace and mercy, Jeremy supports the belief that the Bible is the infallible Word of God. Jeremy is qualified to forgive others, because he has been forgiven through the blood of Jesus Christ.
Prior to starting his new career as a Child of God, Jeremy was worthless and utterly devoid of merit. Through no small or large effort of his own, Jeremy was forgiven his sins through an act of selfless love that is most often depicted by a cross. Thankfully, this action did not end there, but was followed by an empty tomb and radical exit from this planet a few weeks later by a sinless, perfect man that was also God named Jesus Christ. Recognizing that he is nowhere near perfect, Jeremy strives to live a life that pleases God and is thankful that God somehow works through him, despite the fact that Jeremy continually messes things up.
